Fashion Aspects in Salone:

      In the next two or three decade from now there will most definitely be a huge change in Fashion in Sierra Leone. People are more comfortable embracing their heritage. Using traditional wear as far as transforming it to make it look more Fashionable. 

   One simple idea goes a long way....

                              

Why settle for something less when you can experiment with fabrics and create something new that will be loved by others. With only simple supplies like a fabric, sponge, needles an a thread you could make an head band that could be the next trendy thing. Worn by nearly half of the population .I personally hardly go by a day with out seeing people with out these head bands.

                  If people could come up with something so simple and have such a great impact, simple but yet elegant then in a couple years Fashion in Sierra Leone will stand out more .

                  Fashion has different aspect to it one of which, is interior design. In the past people didn`t pay much attention to interior. But its  a good thing that`s actually in the past. Interior design does not have to be done by professionals only. There are simple craft too that can be made the interior of your home or workspace fancy.

                       All these hand made crafts are unique in there own way and made from supplies that are easily found. And all it takes is one creative idea  after another to create your very own master piece.

What people really think about fashion in free town ..

                The first thing question people ask you when you say youi're studying fashion &design is "so u d fashion" which is an  odd thing to ask maybe because they have no idea what it actually is. Before long people who get into sewing and designing were referred to as skilled workers, and also  low paying job for the poor or basically something an uneducated person would choose to do. Not knowing they play a crucial role in the society.

                Every custom made dresses or suits takes time and effort . Whether its been made by your local tailor or a famous designer. As a beginner in fashion & design we are able to understand this. All of this no matter how little helps greatly we all have to start somewhere . There`s always room for learning.    

                        From creating basic patterns. 

                  

                          To creating a master piece 

                                 All these designers were thought by people, who learned more and found different ways to create elegant outfits, manipulate fabrics to suit the desire of the wearer to be worn and admired by people  all around the world...

                               Designers should be able to design anything a creative mind that works to satisfy and meet the needs of  others such as the goldsmiths, interior designers etc  every designer has their own specialty.
